entry doors
I selected Andersen for my main, and side garage entry doors for two reasons:
1) Quality. Andersen makes top notch entry doors and everything I am putting into this build is top quality. From the R-value to the hardware they don’t skimp on any detail. And when you consider the size of these doors (10’ 6”) it is really incredible how ‘light’ in the hand they feel, meaning when I open and close these doors they are literally effortless.
2) Design. Being on the National Historic Register, I wanted to make sure I was respecting the exterior of this building, and using a product that looks period correct. With the number of lite styles and configurations they offer I was to nail the exterior aesthetic.
